The Busy Bees have been recruiting local knitters to create 900 knitted 4×4 inches squares. All 900 knitted squares are being constructed into blankets to celebrate 900 years of Rutherglen. The blankets will be distributed to good causes locally as part of Rutherglen 900.

Over one thousand squares have been knitted and crocheted so far, surpassing the Busy Bees target! The busy Bees hope to showcase some of their work later in the year as part of a fundraiser for the Reuther Hall roof.
