900 Bags of Kindness is a project led by the Rutherglen Churches Together group. It aims to bring our faith communities and local groups together to support the work of the Trussell Foodbanks in Rutherglen Whitlawburn and Cambuslang.
In 2026 Rutherglen Churches Together will issue 900 bags to all participating churches, local groups and schools. The bags will be used to collect the most frequently used staples at our local food banks.
Rutherglen churches have supported the Trussell Foodbank for over twenty-five years and as part of Rutherglen 900 we hope that there is a continued awareness of helping others and supporting people in our communities.
Rutherglen Churches Together can be contacted for more information on how to get involved in the project by contacting [email protected]
