Stories of Faith

This project is aiming to gather stories of faith from individuals who live, worship or spend time in Rutherglen. The faith communities of Rutherglen want to give people an opportunity to briefly share a story of faith.

It may be a current story where an individual is currently practising their faith, but it may also be a story from someone who does not consider themselves to actively practise a faith. People can tell a story from their past of an encounter with faith or a faith community, for example when they were involved in an organisation such as a youth group or when they attended an event where faith was integral.

Over the course of 2026, the faith communities of Rutherglen hope to show that faith is alive and well around Rutherglen and the diversity of the community will be reflected.

Details of how you can share your story will soon be available (probably February) but in the meantime if you would like more information or have ideas to contribute please contact William Wilson, minister of Burnside Blairbeth Church at: [email protected]
