As part of the year-long Rutherglen 900 celebrations, join us at Rutherglen Lawn Tennis Club for a unique midsummer evening of music, dancing, and community spirit – right on our tennis courts.

This special “Ceilidh on the Courts” brings a fresh twist to a much-loved Scottish tradition, transforming our courts into an open-air dancefloor for a night to remember. Expect high energy, plenty of laughs, and a fantastic atmosphere as we celebrate 900 years of Rutherglen together.

Featuring the brilliant ceilidh band Rock & Reel, delivering lively reels, jigs, and dancefloor favourites to keep everyone moving all night.

Pack your own drinks and snacks, settle in with friends, and enjoy a relaxed, festival-style evening.

Dress for the (Scottish!) weather – it’ll go ahead rain hail or shine! – and wear suitable footwear for dancing on the courts.
