The legendary Scottish Folk singer Matt McGinn lived in Rutherglen for many years in the High Street then later in Fernhill and Spittal. In celebration of Rutherglen 900, we will be remembering the songs, the stories, and the poems of Matt McGinn.
Ron Culley, author and former member of Matt McGinn’s band will speak at the event. There will also be performances by musicians Paul Neilson, Pauline Bradley, Michael Boyle and Ronnie McPhee.
