Join us for the Rutherglen 900 2026 Annual General Meeting, as we look ahead to the final phase of Rutherglen 2026 and, importantly, the legacy of the 900th anniversary of our Royal Burgh.
While there is still work to be delivered as part of the final phase of Rutherglen 2026, our focus this year will increasingly turn towards the future — considering the physical, organisational and community legacy that the 900th anniversary can leave for Rutherglen.
This public meeting is an opportunity to:
- Hear an update on the final phase of Rutherglen 2026
- Find out more about plans for the legacy of the 900th anniversary
- Learn about the work of the Rutherglen 2026 Committee
- Consider how you, your organisation or your community can get involved
- Explore opportunities to serve or continue to serve on the Committee during this next phase
Everyone is welcome
The AGM is open to the public, and we warmly encourage individuals, community groups, organisations and anyone with an interest in Rutherglen’s future to attend.
Please register your attendance through Eventbrite. If you would like to invite others, please encourage them to register separately so that we can keep an accurate record of attendees.
We look forward to welcoming you and continuing the conversation about the future and legacy of Rutherglen 2026.
The AGM will take place in the Exhibition Hall in Rutherglen Town Hall and refreshments will be available.
