Rutherglen Book Festival – Place and Poetry: Nalini Paul
‘Nature’ and memory often work together to give us a sense of place. Join Doune-based poet and nature-lover Nalini Paul in this one-hour poetry workshop, engaging the senses through fun, guided writing exercises. Nalini’s poetry is inspired by walks in ‘wild’ landscapes, memory and belonging. She will bring her expertise to help inspire new writing and poetry. This is a chance to explore, in your own way, your connection to Rutherglen, as it celebrates its 900th anniversary.
The first ever Rutherglen Book Festival is a collaboration between Rutherglen 900 and South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture Libraries. All events are ticketed but free of charge.
We gratefully acknowledge principal sponsor Specsavers Rutherglen for their invaluable support for this event.
