Glasgow Mela and Rutherglen 900 are teaming up to bring a celebration of Rutherglen’s cultural diversity to the Town Hall.
Drawing on the rich tradition of Melas in the UK – South Asian gatherings with arts, sports, culture and food – this event gives a platform to South Asian and other newer communities in Rutherglen, and a space for everyone to learn about each other’s journeys, histories and futures
