Iconic actor and comedian Stan Laurel lived in Rutherglen from 1905 to 1907 at Buchanan Drive. He went to Rutherglen Academy and worked at the Scotia Theatre/Metropole on Stockwell Street Glasgow where his father, Arthur Jefferson, was manager.
This event will include a ukulele band, singers singing songs from Laurel and Hardy movies and even some Laurel and Hardy lookalikes.
